How to dispose of glass bottles and jars in Birmingham
Mixed recycling
Clear and coloured glass bottles and jars are accepted in Birmingham’s mixed recycling. Drinking glasses and Pyrex are not.
What to do
- Remove the lid, bottle top, or screw cap and put it in separately.
- Do not put drinking glasses or Pyrex in the recycling bin.
